Policy and Communication Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Policy and Communication Manager to lead healthcare policy and patient advocacy initiatives across Slovakia and the EU. The role bridges our organization with policymakers, regulators, and patient groups, driving evidence‑based discussions that support access to innovative medicines in oncology, vaccines, and cardiology.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor Slovak and EU political and healthcare developments, identifying opportunities and risks for the business.
• Produce evidence‑based policy analyses, position papers, and advocacy messages aligned with strategic priorities.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with national policymakers, regulators, and key government stakeholders.
• Establish collaborative partnerships with patient organizations, supporting their empowerment and joint initiatives.
• Represent the company in industry associations (e.g., AIFP, AmCham) to advance shared agendas.
• Coordinate with internal business units and regional teams to ensure unified policy approaches.
• Engage external partners such as medical societies and key opinion leaders to sustain dialogue on critical healthcare issues.
• Shape external communications to enhance the company’s reputation and manage potential risks.

Required profile

• University degree in public health, law, economics, political science or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience working within the Slovak healthcare policy environment.
• Deep understanding of Slovak legislative processes and the ability to influence policy outcomes.
• Strong analytical mindset with the capacity to translate complex data into actionable insights.
