Engineer II – Research & Development (Infusion Care)

About the role

As an Infusion Care Engineer II you will join Convatec’s new R&D team at the Technology Development Center in Slovakia. You will be responsible for introducing new infusion care products and managing their life‑cycle, working closely with global R&D colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new high‑value infusion care products that improve patient lives.
• Introduce new products into production and support their launch.
• Collaborate on new assembly and packaging processes for modified or new products.
• Implement design changes to enhance product quality, performance and sustainability.
• Analyse challenges, make decisions and present improvement ideas.
• Continuously develop personal expertise and contribute to a respectful, trusted team culture.

Required profile

• Good team player with strong logical thinking.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Trustful and reliable attitude.
• Technical experience in injection molding or plastic component assembly (optional).
• Familiarity with 3D CAD, simulation and 2D documentation (advantage).
