Payroll Specialist (Europe & META)

About the role

As a Payroll Specialist within Lenovo’s global HR organization, you will ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery for employees across Europe and the META region. Based in Bratislava, this position supports a maternity‑leave backfill and works closely with HR, Finance, external payroll providers, and employees to maintain compliance and a high‑quality employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and validate payroll‑related data for monthly processing across Europe and META.
• Review payroll calculations and conduct quality checks throughout the payroll cycle.
• Handle employee payroll inquiries, providing prompt and accurate resolutions.
• Process payroll transactions in line with internal policies, local regulations, and established procedures.
• Coordinate with external payroll providers to ensure successful outsourced payroll delivery.
• Partner with HR, business stakeholders, and Finance to guarantee seamless end‑to‑end payroll operations.
• Monitor payroll activities, identify discrepancies, and escalate complex issues to the Payroll Manager.
• Support payroll reporting, documentation, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of payroll operations experience, including Europe and META payroll administration.
