Manager Payroll Harmonization Europe

About the role

In this strategic position you will lead the transformation, harmonisation and standardisation of Payroll and Time Management across roughly 30 European countries (excluding Germany). You will shape the future operating model, balancing global standards with regional legal and business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Drive Europe‑wide initiatives for Payroll and Time Management transformation and standardisation.
• Develop and implement scalable, compliant processes and the future operating model.
• Act as a key advisor on Payroll and Time Management, shaping governance and reporting structures.
• Create transparency, process consistency and high data quality across countries.
• Lead complex cross‑country transformation projects from concept to implementation.
• Align stakeholders across HR, Finance, IT, Compliance and external partners, managing governance, risk and change.
• Partner with IT and vendors on system implementations, integrations and enhancements, identifying automation, digitalisation and AI opportunities.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance or a related field.
• Extensive experience in Payroll, Time Management, HR Operations or a comparable environment.
• Proven hands‑on experience in transformation, harmonisation or international rollout projects.
• Strong familiarity with Payroll/Time Management systems such as SAP, Workday, ADP and solid understanding of European compliance requirements.
• Fluent English, strong analytical and strategic capabilities, and ability to drive change in complex organisations.
