Marketing Data Scientist

About the role

Henkel is looking for a Marketing Data Scientist to develop, maintain and deliver Marketing Mix Models (MMM) that support data‑driven marketing decisions across multiple markets. You will work closely with international marketing and business teams to translate analytical results into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain and deliver MMMs and related analyses on time and with high quality.
• Collect, structure and validate data from media, sales, pricing, promotions and other sources.
• Generate insights and recommendations to optimise marketing spend and support broader business decisions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to interpret results and present clear, actionable findings.
• Continuously improve modelling methodologies, data quality and analytical workflows.

Required profile

• Fluent English (spoken and written) for daily stakeholder communication.
• University degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Data Science, Marketing Analytics, Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
• Advanced knowledge of Python and MS Excel.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and analytical thinker with a structured problem‑solving approach.
• Strong knowledge of statistical methods, regression analysis and result interpretation.

Required skills

• Python (including Pandas, MatPlotLib, PyMC, Meridian libraries).
• Microsoft Excel.
