Senior Finance Analyst – Payments & Vendor Management

About the role

Amazon is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to support its rapidly growing EU marketplace operations. You will act as the primary finance contact for suppliers, resolve payment issues, and drive process improvements across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve payment‑related issues with Amazon suppliers across EU marketplaces.
• Perform root‑cause analysis to ensure on‑time payments and high customer satisfaction.
• Serve as the main point of contact for finance queries, invoice disputes, and account reconciliation.
• Investigate and resolve Accounts Payable claims, including received‑but‑not‑invoiced goods and payment delays.
• Collaborate with Retail, Finance, Legal and other internal teams to bridge vendor and stakeholder needs.
• Support complex escalations, consolidate findings, and propose optimal solutions.
• Communicate with senior stakeholders and escalate critical issues when required.
• Implement process improvements, standardise operations, and reduce transactional defects.
• Partner with finance operations teams across locations to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Lead or participate in cross‑functional projects aimed at enhancing finance processes.

Required profile

• Fluent English and B2/C1 level in French, Italian, Spanish or Polish.
• Proven experience in Finance, Accounting or a customer‑facing role handling payment queries.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Good MS Office proficiency.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (macros, pivot tables, power queries, V‑lookup).
• SQL knowledge.
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools.
• Experience with high‑volume finance operations (AP/AR).
