Java/Kotlin Software Engineer

About the role

Join Innovatrics' Solution Teams as a Java/Kotlin Software Engineer. You will work on biometric and identity‑management software that powers elections, border control, and digital ID solutions for more than 80 countries.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance existing Java and Kotlin codebases, fixing bugs and delivering small improvements.
• Design and implement new features, APIs, and performance optimizations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineers to ensure scalability, high performance, and clean architecture.
• Lead technical discussions, mentor junior team members, and contribute to coding standards.
• Influence long‑term technical strategy and continuously improve the technology stack.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Java or Kotlin software engineer (Kotlin experience is a plus).
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment (2 days onsite, 3 days remote).
• Enthusiastic about clean architecture, quality code, and taking ownership of features.
