Product Security Engineer

About the role

Innovatrics is looking for a Product Security Engineer to embed security into the design, development, and deployment of its biometric solutions. You will work in a hybrid setting, collaborating with engineering teams to protect sensitive data used in elections, border control, digital ID and onboarding across more than 80 countries.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the product security strategy for SaaS and on‑premise deployments.
• Introduce structured threat modeling and security design reviews across engineering teams.
• Strengthen Kubernetes, cloud, and CI/CD pipeline security.
• Establish vulnerability management and secure release processes, with authority to block risky releases.
• Act as a white‑hat hacker to test injection‑attack detection mechanisms.
• Collaborate with IT Operations on ISO 27001 compliance and prepare for surveillance audits.

Required profile

• Strong background in software security and secure development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
• Experience working with cloud‑native architectures, containers and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to identify security gaps and create pragmatic, engineering‑focused roadmaps.
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to act as the security authority for software releases.
