Senior AI Innovation Engineer

About the role

Innovatrics is looking for a Senior AI Innovation Engineer to join its Innovation team. You will explore new biometric concepts, turn validated ideas into production‑ready algorithms and help shape the company’s research direction.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate emerging biometric use‑cases such as palm‑based authentication, face‑morphing detection and revocable biometrics.
• Design and execute research experiments to address ambiguous problems and validate approaches.
• Develop proof‑of‑concept prototypes, own the machine‑learning core and evaluation logic.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate prototypes into demos and production pipelines.
• Lead end‑to‑end exploration streams, from idea framing to demo delivery, and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• Several years of hands‑on applied machine‑learning experience.
• Ability to work autonomously on ill‑defined problems and deliver high‑ownership prototypes.
• Strong communication skills to explain research findings and influence product decisions.
• Motivation for applied research and practical experimentation in biometric technologies.
