Warehouse Manager

About the role

Wabtec is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead warehouse and internal logistics operations at its manufacturing site in Topolcany. You will be responsible for inventory accuracy, material flow, and continuous improvement of warehouse processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and organize warehouse and internal logistics operations, ensuring optimal stock levels.
• Oversee inbound, storage, line feeding, finished‑goods handling and outbound processes.
• Manage stock movements in the ERP system and coordinate material flow to support production.
• Monitor and improve warehouse KPIs, productivity and operational efficiency.
• Drive Lean initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen and flow optimisation.
• Coordinate transportation activities and monitor logistics supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environment regulations.
• Lead, coach, develop and evaluate warehouse team members.

Required profile

• Secondary school or university degree, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse management or internal logistics, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven team‑leadership and people‑management experience.
• Intermediate English (B1) and Slovak language proficiency.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems (SAP experience is an advantage).
• Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel, at an intermediate level.
• Knowledge of inventory management, material flow and logistics processes.
