Non-Production Purchasing Lead Expert (Contract Logistics)

About the role

Join LEONI's Global Non-Production Purchasing team to lead strategic procurement activities in Contract Logistics. You will manage global sourcing initiatives, negotiate with logistics providers, and develop cost models to optimise our logistics network.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute benchmarks, manage RFIs/RFQs, evaluate offers and conduct commercial comparisons.
• Maintain warehousing cost models, validate supplier quotations and ensure cost transparency.
• Lead negotiations with logistics service providers to secure optimal pricing and service levels.
• Identify cost‑optimization opportunities, drive supplier consolidation and continuous process improvement.
• Build and maintain purchasing databases for supplier management and category reporting.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement with business objectives.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Economics or related field.
• At least 5 years experience in Contract Logistics, preferably in an international automotive environment.
• Minimum 3 years experience in warehousing cost calculation, ideally with wire harnesses.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with confidence in complex cost models.
• Fluent English (minimum B2); additional European languages are a plus.
