Treaty Underwriting Coordinator (English and German)

About the role

Swiss Re is looking for a Treaty Underwriting Coordinator in Bratislava to join its Knowledge Company, a team of more than 60 Business Coordinators supporting client managers who originate and renew reinsurance business. The coordinator acts as a point of contact for client-facing staff and manages their own portfolio, with the position also suitable for graduates.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a point of contact and partner for Client Underwriters or Key Account Managers
• Handle your own portfolio, including contract management, data gathering, portfolio analysis and reporting
• Coordinate tasks across cross-functional teams such as Technical Accounting, Claims, Underwriting and Contracts
• Prepare presentations for client visits, client events and conferences
• Take part in projects and initiatives when possible

Required profile

• Fluent English and German are mandatory
• Reliable, self-driven, constructive and open-minded team player with attention to detail, prioritization and effective communication
• Strong customer focus and service orientation
• Previous experience in administration or insurance/reinsurance is an advantage; graduates are welcome

Required skills

• MS Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Data literacy, the ability to read and interpret data, is an advantage

What we offer

• Base salary in Slovakia of EUR 1,400 to 2,300 per month for a full-time role, depending on profile and requirements
