Junior Claims Administrator (Temporary)

About the role

Swiss Re is looking for a Junior Claims Administrator in Bratislava, Slovakia, to manage and process claims information in legacy systems and support business teams. The role supports claims handlers and, depending on experience, works with underwriters, lawyers and brokers on key claims matters. It is a maternity cover position and offers a flexible, supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Examine and process claims documents, make required adjustments and set up claims files in legacy systems
• Communicate with customers by phone and in writing to obtain the claim information needed
• Review and resolve client enquiries about open billing invoices and statements from clients and brokers
• Process claim documents accurately and on time, including payments, setup, acknowledgement letters and other non-core claims processes
• Work with Accounting to book corrections and keep ledgers accurate

Required profile

• Proficiency in English (reading, written and verbal)
• Strong organisational and analytical skills, able to work independently and in a team
• Excellent customer focus and a positive, can-do attitude
• Nice to have: knowledge of (re)insurance products and business, and proficiency in another European language

Required skills

• Digital literacy
• Experience with the MS Office package

What we offer

• Base salary in Slovakia of EUR 1,300 to 2,100 per month for a full-time role, depending on profile and experience
• Possible performance-based bonus
• Hybrid work model, with at least 50% of working time in the office
