Testing Engineer for HMI and PLC (Alarm & Function Testing)

About the role

Valicare s.r.o., part of the international Syntegon Group, is responsible for qualification and validation of machines and equipment in the pharma sector. Its clients are global pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies and medical device manufacturers. The company is looking for a testing engineer in Trenčianska Turná to carry out alarm and function tests on pharmaceutical production lines.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out alarm and function, PLC and HMI tests on pharmaceutical lines.
• Test, verify and document alarm functionality according to validation standards (GMP).
• Work on international projects, travelling abroad to customer sites.
• Communicate with the team and customers, report results and suggest improvements.

Required profile

• Degree or engineering degree in technical or electrical engineering.
• Willingness to learn English and work in an international environment.
• Willingness to travel about 60% of working time.
• Responsible attitude, teamwork, communication and systematic documentation.
• Experience or interest in pharma/GMP is an advantage.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of PLC and HMI programming (an advantage).
