Test Engineer for HMI and PLC (Alarm & Function Testing)

About the role

We are looking for a Test Engineer to perform Alarm & Function, PLC and HMI testing on pharmaceutical production lines. The role involves validating automated equipment in compliance with GMP, ISO 9001 and customer requirements, with frequent international travel.

Key responsibilities

• Execute Alarm & Function, PLC and HMI tests on pharma lines and document results.
• Validate alarm functionality according to GMP standards.
• Travel to customer sites abroad (average 2‑4 weeks per project, 50‑60% of the year).
• Communicate findings, report results and suggest improvements to the team and customers.

Required profile

• Graduate or engineer in a technical/electrical field.
• Basic knowledge of PLC and HMI (advantageous).
• Willingness to improve English and work in an international environment.
• Ready to travel up to 60% of working time.
• Responsible, team‑oriented, systematic documentation skills.
