Technical Representative - Roofing Waterproofing

About the role

Holcim is looking for a Technical Representative for its Solutions and Products line, based in Bratislava. After professional training within the Elevate technical department, you will provide technical support to contractors, distributors and partners. The role covers field service, technical inspections, project calculations and training of suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide field services and technical assistance during project installation.
• Inspect roofing systems and pond waterproofing installations against guidelines.
• Analyse possible future renovations, troubleshoot and handle warranty claims.
• Calculate projects, including system design such as wind-uplift calculations.
• Design layout plans, installation details, price quotations and bills of quantities.
• Lead seminars, presentations and training for suppliers on flat roof waterproofing and pond liners.
• Build roof and system mock-ups for exhibitions and seminars.
• Support sales by answering project queries and helping contractors solve technical problems.
• Review technical documents and help test and develop technical tools.

Required profile

• Secondary education (high school) with school-leaving exams, followed by higher professional education or a university degree in engineering or another relevant field.
• Solid understanding of the construction industry, or strong interest in waterproofing solutions.
• Category B driving licence and willingness to travel across Eastern Europe, CIS and MEA regions.
• Upper-intermediate English (B2) or higher is mandatory.

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Team communication and cooperation.
