Service Technician

About the role

Join Trane Technologies as a Service Technician to deliver high‑quality technical service and support for HVAC systems, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Perform commissioning, start‑up, operational checks, and servicing of HVAC equipment at customer locations.
• Diagnose and resolve system and equipment issues, conduct planned and unplanned maintenance, and carry out component replacements and upgrades.
• Collaborate with team leaders and customers to understand technical requirements and ensure successful installations.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including technical reports and work records, while adhering to health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Technical education in refrigeration or a university degree in HVAC engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience servicing chillers.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation in English.
• Valid Category B driver’s licence with at least 2 years of experience.

Required skills

• HVAC system commissioning and maintenance.
• Chiller and refrigeration system servicing.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• SEP electrical authorization (preferred).
• Certifications for handling controlled substances, high‑capacity refrigeration, pressure equipment, and hard‑solder brazing (preferred).
