Senior ICT Engineer - Nutanix (German-speaking, m/f/d)

About the role

Operational Services GmbH, within Deutsche Telekom Systems Solutions Slovakia, is looking for a German-speaking Senior ICT Engineer in Košice who will be trained in Nutanix. The role covers implementation, administration and migration of Nutanix cloud infrastructures, automation of operational workflows and management of complex IT systems.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, administer and migrate Nutanix cloud infrastructures (AOS, AHV, AOS storage, virtual networking, NDK, etc.)
• Implement and administer Nutanix Prism with PowerShell, Bash, REST APIs, Ansible or Terraform
• Lead automation and standardisation of operational workflows with scripts
• Plan, design and run commissioning and operation of complex systems
• Take part in preparing decision papers and technical concepts
• Install and maintain tools, develop and plan service concepts, manage order processing and ensure agreed service levels
• Create and maintain documentation

Required profile

• Master's or diploma degree with relevant experience, or comparable knowledge and skills
• At least five years of professional experience, including a minimum of three years in IT administration
• Fluent German or English (B2 minimum); German-speaking candidates preferred
• Customer-oriented, analytical and structured, flexible and resilient, with good teamwork and communication skills

• Nutanix AOS, AHV, Prism and LCM (very strong)
• Storage containers, protection domains, snapshots, replication, performance analysis and troubleshooting
• Windows and Linux, AD, DNS, DHCP, file services
• NFS, SAN, NAS, SDS and backup solutions
• TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalling, overlay networks and Nutanix Flow
• PowerShell, Bash, REST APIs, Ansible, Terraform and scripting
• Nutanix Certified Associate (NCA) and Certified Professional (NCP-MCI), and ITIL Foundation certification
