Software Developer with PHP (m/f/d)

About the role

Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Slovakia is looking for a Software Developer with PHP to join the team of software developers at Digital Enabler, the IoT & Connectivity department of DigiHUB Mare. The team builds applications for end customers in Germany, for Deutsche Telekom Technik, Field Service and Service, and for technical solutions supporting customer-side processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop front-end user interfaces and back-end logic for DTT
• Build front-end assistants (robots), interfaces (SOAP, REST), customer UIs and system overlays
• Implement application functionalities defined in tickets together with the steering team and Product Owner
• Analyse requirements and communicate with internal stakeholders
• Use agreed programming languages or tools to develop automation solutions
• Solve complex technical challenges creatively and take part in R&D projects

Required profile

• Several years of experience in the IT industry
• Advanced experience with programming and application design
• Good skills in integrating systems and applications
• Ability to work independently and in a team, willingness to learn and teach new technologies
• Self-motivated and organised

• PHP 8+ and object-oriented programming (intermediate)
• Symfony framework (intermediate)
• JavaScript and TypeScript (working knowledge)
• React (working knowledge)
• Tailwind CSS (working knowledge)
• PostgreSQL / MySQL (intermediate)
• Docker (working knowledge)
• CI/CD pipelines, Git, cloud systems and DevOps concepts
• English B2; German is a plus
