ICT Engineer for SAP (m/f/d)

About the role

Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Slovakia, which entered the Košice region in 2006 as T-Systems Slovakia and is now one of the founding members of Košice IT Valley, is looking for an ICT Engineer for SAP. The role covers the most complex 3rd-level IT activities needed to deliver IT services and supporting infrastructure, keeping KPIs in mind and maintaining a stable technical infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Cover event, incident and change management processes in the ITIL framework via the SNOW portal
• Take part in projects using technologies such as S/4HANA and Sybase-ASE, and in private and hybrid cloud computing
• Work on solutions connected to world-leading suppliers such as SAP RISE
• Inspect and recommend improvements regularly, and diagnose and resolve complex tickets or escalate them
• Investigate the root cause of complex incidents and act to fix them
• Evaluate, authorise, plan, test, implement and document complex changes, escalating to higher authority when needed
• Assess infrastructure performance against predictions and remediate deviations with vendors if necessary
• Create and maintain technical documentation, and act as technical lead for release and deployment plans and for critical situations
• Deliver training plans and introduce new technologies or upgrades

Required profile

• At least secondary education in information technologies
• At least 4 years of experience in the field
• Expert-level core platform knowledge of SAP
• Intermediate knowledge of related platforms such as Linux
• Knowledge of project management and ITIL processes
• English at least at B2 level
• Team player with analytical thinking, mentoring, presentation and negotiation skills, and financial literacy in the business area
