Senior Fullstack Engineer (PHP + JS)

About the role

Join one of the top global leaders in affiliate marketing for sports and betting and become part of a growing technology hub in Bratislava. This senior full‑stack engineer role goes beyond picking up tickets – you’ll influence technical decisions, shape architecture and set engineering standards.

Key responsibilities

• Build new features and improve existing products used by hundreds of millions of visitors per year.
• Design technical solutions and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Gradually modernize a large legacy platform – deciding what to fix, refactor or rewrite.
• Take part in code reviews and help raise technical standards across the team.
• Mentor other developers and share your experience.
• Work closely with an international engineering team.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with PHP, ideally Laravel or Symfony.
• Solid knowledge of modern JavaScript/TypeScript and frontend development.
• Experience working with production systems – debugging, root‑cause analysis and troubleshooting.
• Ability to navigate legacy code and independently design practical solutions.
• Good understanding of CI/CD, monitoring and observability.
• Interest in technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring and setting standards.
• Conversational English – you'll work in an international environment.
