React/Java Fullstack Developer

About the role

You will join the Biometric Platform for ID Issuance team, building and evolving an Automated Biometric Identification System (ABIS) used by governments for elections, ePassports and border security. The role combines Java/Kotlin backend work with modern React front‑end development in a hybrid, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and scale micro‑service based applications using Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot and React/TypeScript.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural decisions and ensure high code quality.
• Implement REST APIs (OpenAPI), GraphQL layers and integrate storage solutions such as MinIO.
• Lead technical discussions, mentor junior developers and promote best engineering practices.
• Own parts of the backend architecture and influence long‑term technical strategy.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a full‑stack developer in Java/Kotlin and React.
• Strong understanding of micro‑service architecture, CI/CD pipelines and cloud‑native deployment.
• Ability to work independently, solve complex problems and collaborate across teams.
• Willingness to mentor others and contribute to a high‑performing engineering culture.
