Project Manager – New Product Development

About the role

As a Project Manager based in Považská Bystrica, you will lead new product development (NPD) projects from concept through launch, while also supporting initiatives such as localization, footprint optimisation, end‑of‑life management and new business opportunities. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead NPD projects from idea generation to market launch, ensuring successful outcomes for customers and the business.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality and product management to align objectives and maintain project momentum.
• Plan project timelines, allocate resources, manage risks and provide transparent reporting to stakeholders.
• Support projects related to localisation, footprint optimisation, end‑of‑life management and new business opportunities.
• Communicate progress and key decisions clearly, building trusted partnerships across functions, locations and leadership levels.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing projects in a manufacturing, industrial or product‑focused environment.
• Strong knowledge of New Product Development processes and ability to coordinate activities across multiple functions.
• Experience working closely with supply chain, procurement and operations teams, understanding their priorities and impact.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels.
