Manufacturing Manager – Injection Molding

About the role

OPmobility is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead its Injection Molding department within the Exterior & Lighting Business Group in Lozorno, Slovakia. You will be responsible for safe, efficient, and high‑quality production of plastic components for automotive applications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Injection Molding team to meet quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Coach supervisors, team leaders, and technical staff, fostering continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, automotive standards, and HSE policies.
• Monitor KPIs, implement corrective actions, and drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
• Support new product launches, production transfers, and capacity planning.
• Manage departmental budgets, resources, and workplace organization.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in automotive manufacturing.
• Hands‑on expertise with plastic injection molding processes.
• Proven ability to lead production teams and technical specialists.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
• Experience with automotive quality standards and audits (IATF 16949 and/or ISO).
• Fluent in Slovak or Czech and English.
