PHP Developer - Infrastructure Automation

About the role

AT&T's Infrastructure Automation & Tools team manages and maintains a portfolio of enterprise systems and tools that support mission-critical applications and services. As a PHP Developer, you will support the lifecycle management of server systems by automating inventory, patching and decommissioning, working with database and system design engineers, IT and Security teams and infrastructure stakeholders. The position is hybrid, with about three days a week in the Bratislava office.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using PHP
• Manage lifecycle activities for Linux, UNIX and Windows server systems and applications, including inventory, patching and decommissioning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure for business-critical applications and databases
• Ensure system reliability, performance and security through proactive monitoring and automation
• Support compliance, documentation and knowledge-sharing initiatives

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in automation and scripting with PHP
• Hands-on experience in application and system lifecycle management, patching, automation and merging
• Experience supporting enterprise environments
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams
