Engineering Project Manager

About the role

Join OPmobility’s Exterior & Lighting Business Group in Lozorno, Slovakia as an Engineering Project Manager. You will lead cross‑functional engineering projects from concept through production launch, ensuring our mobility solutions are safe, smart and sustainable.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects from development to production launch.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams and drive project execution.
• Act as the main engineering contact for customers and lead technical discussions.
• Ensure product designs meet manufacturing, quality, timing and cost requirements.
• Support technical decision‑making and recommend optimal solutions.
• Manage project timing, budget, resources and engineering changes.
• Oversee tooling development, prototype builds, validation activities and launch support.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience in project management within automotive or another manufacturing industry.
• Strong technical understanding of product development and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to coordinate teams and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Excellent customer communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Strong decision‑making, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
• Fluent English required; German is an advantage.
