Intern - Financial Accounting Advisory Services

About the role

EY's Financial & Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team in Bratislava is looking for an intern. The team helps CFOs, audit committee members and treasury leaders interpret changes in accounting standards and regulations, including IFRS, and advises on emerging technology trends such as big data and the automation of financial processes. The internship starts on 1 October 2026, is part-time and pays 7.5 EUR per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in consulting projects on the implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Support projects on consolidating financial statements for international and local corporate groups
• Help improve the efficiency of financial processes in client engagements
• Contribute to designing, implementing and optimising business processes
• Process and prepare data for data analytics and reporting projects

Required profile

• Third- or fourth-year university student in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Technology or a related field
• Knowledge of accounting principles; familiarity with Slovak Accounting Standards, IFRS or US GAAP is an advantage but not required
• International experience, such as studying abroad or previous work in an international environment, is an advantage
• Fluent English
