Experienced Senior for M&A

About the role

EY-Parthenon, EY's strategy and transactions consulting brand, is looking for an experienced Senior in M&A for its Slovakia team. The role takes part in mergers and acquisitions advisory projects, supports clients in strategic transaction decisions and works with business owners, investors and management teams. It is a full-time position in Bratislava, starting as soon as possible, with a salary of 3,000 EUR per month depending on previous experience.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in buy-side and sell-side M&A projects, from analysis and strategy through due diligence to closing.
• Prepare and review client deliverables such as information memoranda, teasers, management presentations, financial analyses and decision materials.
• Build financial models, valuation analyses, market research and profiles of potential investors or targets.
• Coordinate project workstreams, work with clients and advisors and ensure milestones are delivered on time.
• Guide and support junior team members and contribute to business proposals, pitches and market intelligence.
• Monitor market developments, industry trends and emerging transaction opportunities.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in M&A, corporate finance, transaction advisory, investment banking, private equity or strategy consulting.
• Hands-on transaction experience and the ability to manage workstreams and talk directly with clients.
• University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field; CFA, ACCA or another relevant qualification is an advantage.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills in Slovak and English.

Required skills

• Financial modelling, interpretation of financial statements and company valuation.
• Preparing clear, high-quality client materials.
• Coordinating junior team members and managing multiple priorities.
