Junior Specialist - Global Compliance and Reporting

About the role

EY is hiring a Junior Specialist for its Global Compliance and Reporting function in Košice, Slovakia. The position is full-time, starts as soon as possible and pays 1,200 EUR per month gross. It combines data processing, administrative support and preparation of tax and compliance documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Process and analyse various data
• Perform administrative tasks and support the firm's internal service lines
• Prepare supporting documentation for tax returns and submissions
• Develop basic frameworks for tax calculations and prepare simple calculations
• Prepare tax return forms and other related documents
• Maintain records of compliance work processes and keep files
• Prepare tax registrations and related notifications

Required profile

• High school diploma with school-leaving exam focused on economics, or a university degree focused on economics
• Prior experience in a similar position is an advantage
• Analytical and logical thinking, strong communication skills
• Good command of English; written English will be required

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of accounting
• User-level knowledge of MS Office; Excel and Word are necessary
