Industry Project & Business Development Manager (Slovak & English)

About the role

Bureau Veritas is looking for an Industry Project & Business Development Manager in Bratislava who speaks Slovak and English. The role covers business development for industry services in line with the product line development strategy, including the commercial side of projects from offer through to implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the strategy for developing IND services according to the country market, aligned with company goals and the business development roadmap.
• Achieve the financial KPIs (revenue, operating profit and sales budget targets) for the IND business unit.
• Monitor market trends and customer needs, and identify opportunities for new services and clients.
• Identify, develop and implement new IND products and services, and lead IND initiatives across internal divisions.
• Manage projects commercially, from offer stage to implementation and closing, and coordinate commercial offers and their delivery to clients.
• Work with colleagues in other countries to develop and implement the service portfolio.
• Maintain CRM systems such as Salesforce, and research the latest IND trends and best practices.
• Review large client projects and stay aware of new legislation and regulations in the construction domain.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or a similar field.
• At least 5 years of experience in engineering, project management or business development.
• Knowledge of the certification and conformity assessment market is an advantage, especially Site Management, PED, IWE, EWE and NDT.
• Advanced English; the role requires Slovak.
