Senior Compute & AI Presales Architect

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring a Senior Compute & AI Presales Architect in Bratislava. The role is hybrid, with an average of 2 days per week spent in an HPE office. It focuses on technical selling to customers and partners, architecting solutions that meet customer business and technical needs across hardware, software, services and as-a-service offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Design complex proposals and proofs of concept, turning customer business needs into technical solution designs
• Present solutions and demonstrate HPE's value propositions to customers and partners
• Manage customer and company stakeholder expectations and mitigate risk
• Build and nurture the account pipeline, prioritizing deals with the highest potential
• Take part in sales forecast meetings and document work throughout the sales cycle
• Advise executives and CxOs, and transfer knowledge to external partners
• Contribute to industry events, conferences and social media, and monitor the competitive landscape

Required profile

• Advanced degree in technology or a related field preferred, or equivalent technical qualifications
• 12+ years of technical experience in IT, focused on technical consulting and solution selling
• 2+ industry-standard technology certifications or equivalent experience
• English and the applicable local languages

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of HPE's portfolio and the as-a-service (aaS) business model
• Consultative and value selling, including presentations, whiteboarding, objection handling and closing
• Financial acumen: TCO/ROI, financial models and KPIs
• Use of CRM systems and standard project management tools

What we offer

• Salary range in Slovakia of EUR 69,800 to 129,800 per year (80% base, 20% target sales compensation)
