Finance Analyst – C-COGS

About the role

The Contra‑COGS team in Bratislava is seeking an organised, detail‑oriented Finance Analyst to support vendor funding reconciliation and financial reporting across Amazon’s European, Middle‑Eastern, African and APAC markets. You will work closely with finance and retail teams, reviewing promotional activity and improving day‑to‑day tools and processes.

Key responsibilities

• Review and reconcile vendor financial agreements and ensure accurate entry into reporting tools.
• Approve promotions offered to end customers.
• Support finance and retail teams on pricing, vendor agreements, management reporting and compliance.
• Supervise daily C‑COGS operations and become the subject‑matter expert on agreements and promotions.
• Audit, simplify, automate and scale standard C‑COGS tools and processes.
• Identify issues, recommend improvements and communicate with Finance/Vendor Managers.
• Develop Excel‑based tools and financial analysis models for decision‑making.
• Perform deep‑dive analyses to uncover root business and reporting issues.
• Ensure service‑level agreements are met and report results to countries and senior management.
