Senior Financial Controller (m/f/d)

About the role

T-Systems Slovakia, part of Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Slovakia, is looking for a Senior Controller in Košice. The controller is responsible for a specific controlling area and gives financial and strategic judgments on transactions, measures, projects, new technologies, business models and market developments. The role covers steering and managing financial controlling of group-wide KPIs such as order entry, order backlog, customer result, production variance, TWC, EBIT and others.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare executive management reports for the business unit at LBU level
• Analyse key financials on month-to-date, year-to-date and previous-year basis (actual, forecast, budget) for order entry, revenue, customer result, EBIT, EBITDA, TWC and special factors
• Handle account controlling (month-end and year-end closing, forecasting, budgeting) and project controlling (budgeting, forecasting)
• Analyse, calculate and book financial entries in the system (accruals, revenues, costs, true-ups, order entry, order backlog)
• Coordinate closing processes globally within the assigned responsibilities
• The role may also include operational management of assigned colleagues; it carries no disciplinary responsibility

Required profile

• Master's degree in Economics
• At least 6 years of experience in the finance sector
• Advanced communication, organisation and time-management skills
• Expertise in result interpretation, reporting and financial process overview
• English at minimum B2; German at minimum B2 (an advantage)
