Executive Network Operations Manager - Industrial AI Cloud

About the role

Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Slovakia is looking for an Executive Network Operations Manager for its Industrial AI Cloud (IAIC) project, which is developed jointly with NVIDIA for Europe. The role ensures operational stability, production quality and efficient delivery of services, acting as the main link between Customer Delivery Management, Product Management and the IAIC network operations and engineering teams. It covers network components such as InfiniBand switches with Cumulus OS, RoCE, UFM, FortiGate firewalls and Cisco border gateways, while meeting SLAs/OLAs and optimising operational costs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the global service chain for the IAIC and ensure delivery against SLAs/OLAs
• Define, monitor and report KPIs for production quality and customer satisfaction
• Act as single point of contact for internal customers and stakeholders on day-to-day operations and service transitions
• Lead teams and processes to keep delivery flowing smoothly and bridge technical architects, operations and business stakeholders
• Steer incident, problem and change management for a 24/7 service, keeping mission-critical AI infrastructure running
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks and support resource planning and product workshops
• Take part in onboarding new customers and partners, and align hardware lifecycle upgrades with service availability

Required profile

• Experience as a Senior Operations Manager or Service Chain OPM in cloud, HPC or large-scale enterprise software environments
• Expert knowledge of ITIL processes (incident, problem, change and release management)
• Strong understanding of network needs for AI/GPU infrastructure (NVIDIA DGX platforms, GPU clusters)
• Experience managing SLAs/OLAs and reporting KPIs to executives
• Advanced communication and negotiation skills, and ability to lead war rooms during critical outages
• Independent, self-managing, with advanced English (C1); German B2 is an advantage

• Real-time observability with tools such as Prometheus and Grafana dashboards
• Lean/Kaizen continuous improvement and change governance
