Enterprise Architect for Health Customer (German-speaking)

About the role

T-Systems Slovakia (Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Slovakia) is looking for an Enterprise Architect for its Health customer in Košice. The role owns the development and optimisation of IT architecture at enterprise level, from customer and technical requirements through to implementation, and covers the full network stack from data centres to the customer interface. German (B1+) is required.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical feasibility, consistency and documentation of network solutions, including data centres, cloud services, applications and external partners.
• Create, maintain and evolve network landscapes and document architectures, connectivity paths, data flows, routing dependencies and security boundaries.
• Translate customer requirements into production-ready specifications: IP addressing, routing and switching, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, DNS and other parameters.
• Plan external connections and integrations, support network migration projects and assess technical dependencies and risks.
• Provide technical leadership during implementation, prepare change packages and define standardisation and automation use cases.
• Support cross-cluster incidents with a 30-minute response target, run troubleshooting, coordinate teams and contribute to root-cause analysis and Incident and Problem Management.
• Take part in customer consultations, project discussions, change meetings and technical governance forums.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Engineering or comparable, with several years of experience in enterprise network architecture, network engineering, network operations or solution design.
• Strong experience planning network concepts and designing detailed network layouts.
• Experience with network migration planning and execution, and with turning customer needs into technical designs.
• Ability to interpret monitoring data, routing tables, firewall rules and logs, and to lead several teams without disciplinary responsibility.
• German B1+, English C1+; preferred: basic scripting or automation experience and certifications such as Cisco Professional, CISSP, ITIL Foundation.

Required skills

• Senior knowledge of TCP/IP, routing and switching, IP addressing, DNS, firewalls, site-to-site and client-to-site VPNs, load balancing and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Data-centre networking, cloud connectivity, SD-WAN and SASE.
• Microsoft Visio, DrawIO, Jira and Confluence; ITIL Incident, Problem, Change and Configuration Management; ITSM platforms.
