Cans Deco & BE Team Leader

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Team Leader to oversee the Cans Decoration (Deco) and Base End (BE) production lines. You will ensure smooth operations, high‑quality output and strict safety compliance within our manufacturing facility.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, train and motivate Deco and BE operators and technicians to meet production targets.
• Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to minimise downtime.
• Enforce safety procedures and promote a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular quality inspections on decorated cans and base ends.
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting on Deco and BE equipment.
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams for complex equipment issues.
• Manage shift schedules, attendance and performance evaluations.
• Identify and drive process‑improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate production records, reports and material inventories.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in can‑making or packaging.
• Proven supervisory or team‑leader experience.
• Strong technical understanding of printing, coating and base‑end forming processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and technical problems.
• Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Proficiency in English; Slovak is a strong advantage.
• Basic computer skills, especially Microsoft Office Suite.
• Relevant technical degree or vocational training preferred.
