Group Procurement Manager

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Group Procurement Manager to establish and professionalise procurement across an international, multi‑site manufacturing organisation. Reporting to the Group Supply Chain Director, you will work closely with regional leadership, plant management and local procurement teams to bring coordination, capture synergies and strengthen supplier governance.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a Group Procurement framework, governance, decision rights and escalation processes.
• Lead strategic sourcing and category management for direct materials, metal components, packaging, energy and services, consolidating volumes to achieve economies of scale.
• Identify and deliver cross‑site procurement synergies, cost reductions and measurable P&L impact.
• Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships, performance reviews and risk mitigation plans.
• Assess and design the future procurement operating model, aligning local buyers with Group functions.

Required profile

• Significant experience in strategic procurement, sourcing or category management within international industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Proven track record of delivering savings and commercial improvements through negotiations and supplier consolidation.
• Strong experience with direct‑material categories such as raw materials, metal components, packaging or energy.
• Demonstrated ability to build, centralise or transform procurement functions across multiple sites.
• Excellent stakeholder‑influence skills without formal authority and strong project‑management, analytical and financial capabilities.
