Accountant – Tooling Operations (RTR Central)

About the role

Adient is seeking an Accountant to support the RTR Central Tooling function. You will work closely with tooling suppliers and internal teams to ensure accurate financial processing and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Process tooling supplier invoices, corrections, and reversals.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies, claims, and open items.
• Support daily tooling operations and coordinate assigned students.
• Perform month‑end close activities and continuous monitoring.
• Assist with tooling factoring, VAT, and compliance requirements.
• Communicate daily with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare reports related to tooling activities.
• Resolve operational issues in line with local regulations.
• Participate in process improvement, standardisation, and automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Financial education with at least 2 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• Basic SAP transaction knowledge (advantageous, not mandatory).
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Core accounting & finance knowledge, controlling and analytical abilities.
• Strong business partnering, communication, organisational and personal skills.

• Base monthly salary starting from 1 350 EUR gross (higher possible).
