Junior Consultant in Financial Accounting Advisory Services

About the role

Join EY’s Financial Accounting Advisory Services team in Bratislava and build on your finance and accounting knowledge after university. You will work on a variety of projects for local and international clients, ranging from IFRS implementation and financial statement consolidation to process improvement, automation and data analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in advisory projects focused on the implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Collaborate on projects involving the consolidation of financial statements for both international and local corporate groups.
• Support initiatives aimed at improving and streamlining financial processes within client projects.
• Contribute to the design, optimisation and enhancement of financial processes.
• Prepare and process data for projects focused on data analysis.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering or a related technical field.
• Understanding of accounting principles.
• Previous experience in audit, accounting or financial advisory is an advantage.
• Ability to independently research information and find solutions to problems.
• Strong logical and analytical thinking.
• Eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent English proficiency.
