About the role

Amazon places employee safety and wellbeing as a top priority. As a Safety Technician (BOZP) you will join the Workplace Health and Safety team in Slovakia, supporting the monitoring and improvement of safety processes across the fulfillment centre.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to ensure compliance with Amazon safety procedures.
• Monitor the work environment, identify potential hazards, and propose corrective actions.
• Create and update safety metric dashboards for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with operations colleagues and corporate teams to provide safety guidance and implement new safety measures.
• Support ad‑hoc safety projects and contribute data that helps prevent incidents.

Required profile

• Secondary education with a graduation certificate in occupational health and safety (BOZP) or equivalent.
• Experience using data analysis to develop and explain safety metrics.
• Knowledge of Slovak occupational safety legislation.
• Fluent Slovak language and basic English (A2) – written and spoken.
