Technical Analyst (All Humans)

About the role

Erste Digital, part of Erste Group, is looking for a Technical Analyst in Košice to turn complex business needs into simple, scalable technical solutions. The role helps build the technical foundation of digital banking, from REST APIs and automated workflows to AI-powered and agentic services, bridging business and technology.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business ideas and requirements into technical concepts, software requirements, APIs and workflows
• Design REST APIs and integrations based on modern architecture principles and help evolve the API landscape
• Work on digital banking solutions including automation, AI-powered services and emerging Agentic AI use cases
• Review functional and technical designs for scalability, security, maintainability and future business needs
• Collaborate with software engineers, architects, product owners, data experts and business stakeholders from idea to production
• Help teams make informed technical decisions and contribute to an agile environment using Jira, Scrum or Kanban meetings and retrospectives
• Improve APIs, processes, standards and ways of working

Required profile

• 5+ years of recent active experience in requirements engineering, business analysis, solution design, software engineering or a comparable technical role
• Recent experience in agile software delivery environments
• Ability to explain complex topics simply and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Good English; German is an advantage
• A technical degree is welcome, but relevant experience and technical understanding are equally important

• Generative AI and Agentic AI (hands-on experience is a plus)
