Senior Industrial AI Cloud DevOps Engineer

About the role

NVIDIA and Deutsche Telekom are jointly developing the world's first industrial AI cloud for European manufacturers, hosting 10,000 GPUs across NVIDIA DGX B200 systems and RTX Pro servers. Deutsche Telekom provides secure, sovereign and fast infrastructure, including data centers, operations, security and AI solutions. The Senior DevOps Engineer advises the functional organization on implementing DevOps principles in culture and technology, prepares prototypes and concepts for automation, and owns the full lifecycle of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement and support ICT components and applications on the AI Cloud platform.
• Develop concepts, processes and methods for automation, optimization and standardization.
• Advise colleagues and customers on technical aspects of products and deliver project outputs.
• Maintain and enhance product pipelines, integrate different platforms and infrastructures, and perform root-cause analysis of pipeline errors.
• Develop and implement service architectures based on AI Cloud requirements.
• Mentor and train co-workers, act as technical lead and coordinate activities across technologies.
• Set up and manage integration with partner applications.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience designing and delivering systems on IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.
• Experience with GPU-based infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes container technologies.
• Strong Linux experience.
• B2 English; German is an advantage.
• Good communication, analytical thinking, teamwork, presentation and negotiation skills, basic project management and leadership overview, and intermediate quality management overview.

Required skills

• Scripting: Python and Bash.
• Automation tools: Ansible, SaltStack, Terraform, Helm.
• CI/CD in Kubernetes environments with GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD.
• Git (GitHub, GitLab) and repository management.
• Monitoring and visualization tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
