Supply Chain Manager

About the role

Kompozitum s.r.o., a stable European manufacturer of carbon and graphite components and part of the global Wabtec Corporation, is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager in Topolcany. The role drives operational excellence, supports business growth and strengthens end-to-end supply chain performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Supply Chain organisation, covering Production Planning, Purchasing, Warehouse Management and Logistics
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies, processes and policies
• Ensure material availability for customer requirements and production plans, optimise inventory, working capital and costs, and reduce waste
• Monitor Supply Chain KPIs and drive improvement initiatives
• Manage warehouse operations and inventory control
• Recruit, onboard, coach and manage the Supply Chain team, including performance management
• Ensure compliance with standards, safety regulations and quality requirements
• Promote continuous improvement through Lean, 5S and Kaizen
• Work with Operations, Engineering, Quality and Commercial teams, and collaborate with suppliers and external partners

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Supply Chain leadership role in a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience managing planning, purchasing, warehouse and logistics functions
• Good command of English (B2 or higher) and Slovak

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems (SAP is an advantage)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
• People management and leadership experience
• Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen and 5S knowledge is an advantage
