SCM Category Manager - Temporary Labor

About the role

A Category Manager is sought to cover the sourcing, procurement and management of temporary labor. The role optimizes the regional temporary labor supply base, building a reliable, high-performing, compliant and cost-effective supplier network. It works closely with the Global SCM Category Lead, Temporary Labor.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, plan and implement sourcing strategies for temporary labor, aligned with the global category and supply base strategy, with a strong focus on IT and Engineering spend.
• Lead end-to-end procurement, including supplier identification, negotiation, contract management and commercial agreements.
• Ensure sourcing complies with local labor laws, immigration requirements and other regulations.
• Build and maintain relationships with staffing suppliers and agencies, evaluating their performance regularly.
• Identify risks and put in place business continuity measures to keep labor supply running.
• Drive programs that improve cost efficiency, workforce quality and process reliability.
• Manage large-scale regional projects and give strategic input with minimal supervision.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field; advanced education or certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience in temporary labor category management, strategic sourcing or procurement, preferably at a global level.
• In-depth knowledge of labor laws and compliance for temporary staffing in the target regions.
• Experience managing complex projects and working across large multinational organizations.
• Fluency in English required.

• Salary of EUR 3,760 gross per month in the Slovak Republic, plus a 15% annual bonus (actual salary set in the interview).
