Staff Cloud Security Researcher

About the role

Join SentinelOne’s global security research team to investigate cutting‑edge cloud attack techniques, develop detection strategies and protect enterprise workloads across Windows, Linux and macOS environments.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively research and emulate the newest attack techniques to assess and improve detection engines.
• Conduct comprehensive analysis of attack paths across diverse cloud systems and networks.
• Identify and prioritize vulnerabilities in cloud platforms and design innovative detection strategies.
• Build tools, proofs of concept, and contribute to detection signature development.
• Collaborate with threat intelligence and engineering teams to highlight gaps in visibility.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in red teaming, security or offensive research with deep OS internals knowledge.
• Proven experience in cloud attack‑path analysis, vulnerability assessment and threat modeling.
• Hands‑on coding experience in Python and C/C++.

Required skills

• Cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure.
• Kubernetes and cloud architecture.
• Python, C/C++ programming.
• Understanding of EDR internals and detection engineering.
• Agentic AI workflows for reverse engineering and signature writing.
