Senior IT Business Analyst – Finance Applications

About the role

Adient, a global leader in automotive seating, is hiring a Senior IT Business Analyst for its Finance Applications team in Bratislava. You will work with Finance, IT and other business leaders to gather requirements and deliver solutions for users of HFM, FDM and Smartview tools, supporting the financial systems and the month-end close.

Key responsibilities

• Gather requirements and deliver solutions for users of HFM, FDM and Smartview tools
• Create and maintain data integration touchpoints so data flows into and out of HFM (e.g. from ERP systems such as SAP and QAD)
• Support users of the Financial Systems daily, with emphasis on month-end close
• Provision and deprovision users in HFM Shared Services according to operating procedures, ensuring compliance before security changes
• Support regular internal and external audits, including providing evidence to auditors
• Develop and update security groups and roles, document and enforce application standards and procedures
• Help identify product-related bugs and test patch upgrades with the HFM CoE team
• Develop, test and deploy Smart View and FR reports
• Work with the Help Desk and ServiceNow to resolve customer issues, and create HFM CoE procedures, guidelines and knowledge base documents
• Support other corporate applications with crossover coverage and prepare for a future move to HFM-replacement technology
• Be flexible with shift hours, including on-call support for US business hours

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related accredited program
• 1-3 years of experience with HFM, FDMEE and Smartview, accounting/finance or IT background
• Excellent communication and analytical skills, ability to prioritise and multitask
• Willingness to work overtime during peak periods
• Team-oriented and able to collaborate across IT and business teams

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs
• Preferred: Visual Basic and SQL scripting, intermediate to advanced Word, Excel and Access
