Senior ICT Engineer – VMware & Nutanix (m/f/d)

About the role

Join Operational Services GmbH, part of Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Slovakia, as a senior ICT engineer focused on VMware and Nutanix technologies. The role is ideal for a German‑speaking team player who enjoys working with cutting‑edge cloud infrastructure and automation tools.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, administer, and migrate Nutanix cloud infrastructures (AOS, AHV, Prism, storage, virtual networking, NDK).
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, REST APIs, Ansible or Terraform to standardise operational workflows.
• Plan, design and commission complex systems, ensuring service continuity and agreed service levels.
• Prepare technical decision papers, maintain documentation and coordinate order processing.

Required profile

• Master’s or diploma degree with at least five years of IT experience, including three years in administration.
• Strong knowledge of Nutanix AOS, AHV, Prism and lifecycle management.
• Fluency in German or English (minimum B2), with a preference for German.
• ITIL Foundation certification and Nutanix Certified Associate/Professional.
