Application Support Specialist (L2)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated 2nd Level Support / Application Administrator to ensure reliability, performance and availability of our customers’ applications and platforms. In this role you will troubleshoot technical issues, monitor performance, manage Azure cloud services and work closely with 1st‑level support and development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with 1st‑level customer support to investigate and resolve technical issues and incidents.
• Troubleshoot, analyse and resolve issues within the platforms and applications provided to customers.
• Continuously monitor application performance, reliability and availability, proactively addressing potential problems.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and services in Microsoft Azure.
• Analyse application logs, identify root causes and contribute to long‑term incident resolution.
• Collaborate with development (3rd‑level) teams to investigate and resolve complex technical issues.
• Perform performance tuning, optimisation and troubleshooting of applications and supporting infrastructure.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Application Administrator, Application Support Engineer or similar 2nd‑level support role.
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills with a solid understanding of application monitoring, logging and incident management.
