Senior Configuration & Change Manager

About the role

Siemens Mobility in Žilina is seeking a senior professional to lead configuration and change management for complex train signalling systems. You will ensure that system baselines are consistent, traceable and adaptable to rapid innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into clear configuration strategies and drive their implementation.
• Define criteria for identifying and managing all system components (software, hardware, documents, technical data, CM tools) to achieve full transparency.
• Design, maintain and evolve hardware component databases for precise configuration oversight.
• Develop and enforce change‑management strategies across projects, ensuring controlled implementation.
• Act as a central interface, coordinating with project teams to promote consistency and shared understanding.

Required profile

• Proven experience in configuration and change management within rail or transport engineering.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to shape processes and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with multidisciplinary teams.
• Visionary and assertive attitude, capable of leading complex technical initiatives.
