Security Monitoring Specialist – Threat Analysis & Services

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic IT security professional to join our Threat Analysis & Services team as a Security Monitoring Specialist. In this role you will support assigned customers, optimise monitoring systems and investigate security incidents using cutting‑edge technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide security monitoring services for assigned customers and environments.
• Optimise monitoring systems and fine‑tune detection rules.
• Investigate security incidents, map attack chains and produce incident reports.
• Analyse threat data, evaluate potential risks and communicate findings to customers.
• Collaborate on the development of new monitoring technologies and services under senior supervision.
• Consult on security recommendations for customers or online forums.
• Work with malicious code identification tools and assist in deep malware analysis.
• Maintain continuous education in relevant computer‑security fields.

Required profile

• Education in IT security or related field is an advantage.
• Relevant IT security certifications (e.g., Windows, Unix, Network Security) are a plus.
• Experience working in a SOC or with security monitoring outputs is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, including processes, registries, file systems, services and scheduling.
• Understanding of computer networking concepts (IP addresses, ports, protocols, MAC addresses).
• Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, batch/cmd, VBScript, JavaScript).
• Upper‑intermediate English (B2) proficiency.
